An Alabama police officer has been killed and another critically injured after being shot while responding to a 911 call on Tuesday. A female shooting victim called for help, and upon arrival, officers found the woman with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fired upon the two officers, hitting them both, and later barricaded himself inside an apartment.
