Auto worker strike creates test of Biden's goals on labor and climate


President Biden's goals of fighting climate change and supporting unions are colliding in Michigan as the United Auto Workers (UAW) go on strike against car companies. The strike involves 13,000 workers and is testing Biden's ability to hold together his political coalition. Some UAW members fear that the transition to electric vehicles will cost jobs, as they require fewer workers to assemble.
