College ends partnership with school over 'David' issue

Hillsdale College in Michigan ended its partnership with a Florida charter school, Tallahassee Classical School, that showed sixth-graders a Renaissance art lesson featuring Michelangelo's "David" sculpture. The art depicts the human form, and Hillsdale's K-12 curriculum offers Michelangelo's "David" and other art. Tallahassee Classical School was licensed to use Hillsdale's curriculum, but the license has since been revoked. The principal resigned after a parent complained that the art was pornographic.
