Elizabeth Holmes enters Texas prison to begin 11-year sentence for notorious blood-testing hoax


Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, has begun her sentence of 11 years in federal prison in Texas for her role in a blood-testing hoax that highlighted Silicon Valley’s greed and hubris. Holmes, who is now 39, denied committing any crime and instead admitted that mistakes were made at Theranos.
