Extra spring Covid booster cleared for certain Americans

US regulators have authorized another Covid-19 booster dose for elderly individuals and people with weak immune systems to provide enhanced protection. Those aged 65 and above can choose to receive an additional shot four months after their first bivalent vaccine dosage for the omicron strain. Other individuals with immune system disabilities can take another bivalent booster shot a minimum of two months later with supplementary dosages at the physician's discretion.
