Former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt, a strong supporter of Donald Trump, will head a political action committee that aims to persuade Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. Laxalt and DeSantis are both Navy veterans who attended law school together, and while Laxalt chaired Trump's Nevada campaign in 2020, he has been a friend of DeSantis.
