Manhattan claws back people as urban counties stem outflow

New York City's Manhattan has seen a rise in its population with more than 17,000 new residents in the year till last July, owing to international immigration. The data released on Thursday by the US Census Bureau showed that the county that includes Manhattan had lost approximately 111,000 people over the previous year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
