Nashville school shooter had 'emotional disorder' and small arsenal, police say

The Nashville police said that the 28-year-old former student who shot six people dead in a Christian grade school had purchased seven guns ahead of the shooting while being under a doctor's care for an "emotional disorder." Audrey Elizabeth Hale executed the attack with two assault weapons and a handgun, which were among the seven guns legally purchased from five area stores, according to Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake.
