Philadelphia residents warned about chemical spill in river

Residents in Philadelphia are being advised to consider drinking only bottled water after a chemical spill occurred in the Delaware River in nearby Bucks County, prompting health officials to say that there were now traces of contaminants in the river. The Trinseo Altuglas chemical facility in Bristol Township spilled between 8,100 and 12,000 gallons of a water-based latex finishing solution into the river, which is apparently not toxic but officials have warned that people may wish to use bottled water to drink and cook with.
